TAVA is please to welcome sector expert Reva Cooper and her Top Volunteer Engagement Trends and Proactive Responses workshop to the 2019 AGM.
Reva Cooper believes strongly in the power of volunteerism, and the necessity of qualified leaders of volunteers to meet organizational goals. Her background includes impact roles as the founding Executive Director of the Volunteer Action Centre in Kitchener-Waterloo and Area and Coordinator of the Volunteer Management Certificate Program at Conestoga College.
From attending Top Volunteer Engagement Trends and Proactive Responses, participants will be able to:
Reva's consulting practice assists with a wide variety of “social profit,” public and charitable clients that mobilizes volunteers. She is innovative and proactive in addressing trends impacting volunteerism. Reva is trained and has published in association with Volunteer Canada, Volunteer Management Professionals of Canada, PAVRO. The Ontario Community Support Association, the Mennonite Central Committee and many others. She was also first to receive the Award of Merit at the Volunteer Action Centre Community Impact Awards.
