Cybersecurity 101 – Practical ways to protect yourself against cyber threats

Learning Outcome 1: Raise the awareness to possible cyber threats

Learning Outcome 2: Learn how to create and implement simple measures to limit exposure

Learning Outcome 3: Learn how to deal with the case where you have been hacked or cyber attacked

Eric Anastacio has over 20 years of experience in Information technology auditing. In the past 10 years, Eric has specialized in cyber security. Eric is a Certified Information Systems Auditor and holds a Cyber Security Certificate through Stanford University. Most recently Eric has helped numerous organizations implement controls to prevent cyber attacks.



For those traveling by car: there is limited free parking available adjacent to TAVA's meeting space at Yonge Street Mission (306 Gerrard Street East), please check in with the reception desk to receive a parking pass. Paid parking at City of Toronto Green P lots is available at 51 Aberdeen Avenue and 405 Sherbourne Street.
