Set Up Your Team For Success

With 35 years of international experience in both the private and volunteer sectors, Kathleen Douglass will inspire #TAVAMissionPossible Conference attendees to "redefine" how we achieve team success and how that enables us to realize our organizational missions.

Participants will:

  • Learn to understand the basic elements of leadership in a volunteer environment
  • Learn to appreciate group dynamics and the role they play in team development
  • Learn to identify the key elements of communication as they apply to teams

Through Douglass Leadership Group, Kathleen offers training and development opportunities for not-for-profit, sports and recreation, culture, health care, social services and volunteer based organizations. Kathleen's expertise help organizations to improve their staff-volunteer relations, enhance board governance skills, develop strategic plans and strengthens volunteer programs through workshops and consulting.

Over the years, she has presented at international events and conferences; has worked as a certified trainer for the U.N. Rights of the Child training workshops; held a number of leadership roles on community boards and most recently delivered workshops on the topics of leadership in the Philippines, Vienna, Japan and the US.
