May 13th - Towards a Bright Future
We heard from members that you're interested in learning more about strategic foresight after the topic teaser at our Change Makers Conference. We're welcoming back Eric Blais for our May Membership Meeting set for Thursday, May 13 from 9:30-11am.
This fast-paced hand-on 90-minute interactive workshop will explore the future post COVID-19 by asking the question: which current trends will survive the pandemic and how will they affect my team or my volunteer-run organization?
Using the 33 trends exploring the Future of Volunteer Engagement in Hospitals Post COVID Crisis as a foundational piece, co-author and workshop facilitator, Eric Blais will guide you through the collaborative and hand-on process of using trends to pluralize the future, think of its impact, create scenarios and build robust strategic plans for your team or your organization.
Once completed attendees will be able to:
GOOD TO KNOW:
A little bit of homework...
We will be sending along the complete Future of Volunteer Engagement trend deck prepared by Adriane Beaudry and Eric Blais. We invite you to review all trends before the workshop and come prepared to share the 3 that resonate with you the most or will have or have a direct impact on your organization.
We will be meeting virtually over zoom and once you're registered we will send along the link a few days prior to the workshop.
Note that you need to be a member of TAVA to register for this workshop. For the 2020-2021 program year TAVA is offering a pay-what-you can membership if the full membership fee isn't feasible for you. Become a TAVA Member!
